About the Journal
Aims & Scope
Clean Technology for Resource, Energy and Environment is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a multidisciplinary platform for cutting-edge research and innovations in clean technologies that promote sustainable development in resource, energy and environmental systems.
The journal aims to accelerate the global transition toward a low-carbon, resource-efficient, and environmentally resilient future by publishing high-quality studies on resource recovery, clean energy production and storage, environmental remediation, and integrated systems that address major global challenges such as climate change, pollution, and resource scarcity.
We welcome contributions that advance fundamental understanding, technological innovation, and real-world application in areas spanning engineering, materials science, chemistry, environmental science, and circular economy practices.
Key areas of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Critical material recovery, waste valorization, clean mining, circular economy, and sustainable material development
- Clean and renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar, wind, bioenergy, hydrogen, waste-to-energy)
- Sustainable fuel production and carbon-neutral energy systems
- Advanced materials for energy storage, conversion and environmental remediation
- Green catalysis and eco-friendly process intensification
- Integrated resource-energy-environment systems, including water-energy-waste nexus and eco-industrial technologies
- Clean technologies for water, soil, and air pollution control
- Climate-resilient environmental treatment systems
- Techno-economic, life-cycle, and policy analyses supporting sustainability transitions
Article types include original research articles, reviews, short communications, comments, and perspective papers from both academia and industry. The journal encourages submissions that demonstrate interdisciplinary collaboration, practical impact, and contributions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
